On April 18, 2019 the Greater Bryant Chamber of Commerce hosted the 3rd Annual Central Arkansas First Responders Luncheon at the Bryant Fire and Police Department Complex on Roya Lane. We gathered with approximately 400 people and over 50 businesses to honor all First Responders across the Central Arkansas area.
The day began with businesses delivering donated food dishes around 11 a.m. and guest arriving at 11:30 a.m. Jason Brown, president/ceo of the Greater Bryant Chamber of Commerce began the luncheon by thanking all First Responders for their sacrifice and service to our communities. Brown was followed by Mayor Allen Scott of Bryant who spoke a few words of appreciation for the First Responders as well. Pastor Jason Miller of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church lead the prayer. Afterward, guests enjoyed a delicious buffet-style lunch that included salad, chicken tetrazzini, pulled pork bar b que and trimmings, pizza and more, along with an array of desserts.
After lunch; door prizes were drawn and given to First Responders to show appreciation for their service. A few of the winning recipients were Officer George Morehead with the Bryant Police Department, Officer Matt Fee with the Benton Police Department, and Fireman Daniel Coppock with Bryant Fire Department.
