Taste of Bryant is Bryant’s annual showcase of food in our area. This event, July 30 at Bishop Park, will showcase 39 (at last count) restaurants, delis, caterers and drink providers from the area.
Many other businesses and organizations will use the event to promote themselves, too.
Three ways your business or organization can promote your products or your cause:
1. Attend the event wearing your company shirts. Most of your employees will not argue with “taking one for the team” if what you are asking them to do is go sample food while being a human billboard for you. Not a bad gig if you can get it.
2. Treat your clients. If there is someone you want to impress, or maybe a potential client, give them a ticket. Real Estate agents — if you are helping someone look for a new house in the area, give them a gift to get them acquainted with the food establishments in the area. What a great way to welcome a newcomer!
3. Donate a silent auction item, have a booth, or be a table sponsor. Silent auction items can accomplish an awareness for your company. For instance, one year a company that had previously only sold fireplace inserts and accessories added a patio furniture line. That company donated a patio chair. Many people commented on the fact that it looked like the company was doing something new. Likewise, a booth at the event will put you in front of about 750 people you can talk to about your business. And, if you can’t be there, sponsor a table. Your literature can be placed on the tables at which the public will sit and eat. Your sign will tell them you made the table available for them.
The best idea yet may just be to come and enjoy yourself and visit with people. Happy Tasting!
