Economic Development

Future of Bryant Business

Economic Development sounds complicated but really, it’s quite simple – it is our job to help improve our local economy and quality of life for citizens of Bryant. The definition is simple, but the actual process is a careful balancing act involving great schools, affordable housing, good infrastructure, and most importantly, people who care more about others than they do about themselves.

We’re very fortunate that we live in a community that has all of those readily at hand and it makes our job easier. The Bryant School District is constantly ranked among the best in the state and our housing market is strong. We’re strategically located in central Arkansas along the Interstate-30 corridor, and we offer all of the services of a large city, without the problems to our MSA of over 750,000 people.

Our area’s largest employer plays a huge role in our growth, the Bryant School District. Home of the Hornets, the district encompasses 345 square miles of land in Saline County and serves more that 9,300 students in ten schools.

When driving on Interstate 30 through Bryant you will see the newest home of the Arkansas Heart Hospital Encore. The Encore Medical Center opened their doors in 2020 , offering a full-service emergency department and state of the art full-service hospital.

On the other side of town, located at 1100 Hill Farm Rd is the home of the Saline Country Regional Airport (KSUZ). The airport opened in March 2007 with 5001 x 100 feet runway with full parallel taxiway. The Airport sits on 1200 acres just southeast of the city, has a 4020 square foot terminal building with many amenities. Located approximately 8 miles of West Little Rock, the airport has great access to businesses, shopping, hotels, and restaurants. The Saline County Regional Airport was just recently the venue location of Wings Over Bryant Airshow that held close to 25,000 spectators.

Most importantly, we are blessed with an abundance of dedicated and hardworking people who will do practically anything for the good of the community. It’s their effort, enthusiasm, and determination that make our community what it is.

If you’re lucky enough to live here, you know what we’re talking about. If you are looking to relocate, we invite you to come experience what Bryant can do for you and your business, employees, and families.

We’re not just the Heart of Saline County, we are the Heart of Arkansas.
